MUMMIES OF THE WORLD

Do you know to make mummies in Papua New Guinea?
An arid region, such as Egypt for example, is appropriate to make mummies. In Egypt, most of the organs were removed from the body except the brain and the mummy was given a preservative treatment and made in about 70days. On the other hand, It is difficult for the area which has a tropical rain forest climate to make them because of the moisture. So, people in Papua New Guinea create mummies by smoking the body with fire for about 90days. This is quite different from the Egyptian procedure.
